Second dates can be a smidge brain- wracking. After a few of them, you start to learn games that make them come more efficiently, and safer. In order to get our best primary day advice, we reached up to a few dating coaches.

1. Get clear about your expectations for the time reviews.

The most important second date advice for both men and women is to be evident with each other about what you want from the connection. If you want a relaxed encounter or sometimes a more long- term marriage, that should be shared from the beginning. Let your date know if you only want to have fun.

2. Arrive on time.

It’s certainly a good idea to arrive delayed, and it can also make your day feel uninterested. Make an effort to reach at least a few minutes early so that you can settle in and give them a quick hug ( or hand if it’s a blind date ).

3. Ask questions.

While you do n’t want to dominate the conversation, asking your date questions about themselves and their lives is good for engaging. This can help you find out a bunch about their passions, values and experiences, and it will keep the conversation from becoming too one- sided.

4. Watch out for indications that your deadline is suitable for you.

On the other hand, if you’re not really into someone or can tell that they are n’t what you’re looking for, it’s okay to be honest. Likewise, if you’re really not interested in sex on your first date but they’re insistent, do n’t force it.
